I BELIEVE.
· God is god because he remembers.
· I’ am not my body.
1) What makes the essays compelling?
· Their names are something that I would read! It really caught my attention; after I read them I realize I was right.I really identify myself with the text And u don’t necessary have to read something to know if is good or your going to feel satisfy. Sometimes if u identify yourself with the name, and u feel that it goes with you, you know your going to like the text.
2) What kind of stories do they use to showcase they believes?
· They use real life stories. Everything that they remember about their life or something that really impact and they can’t forget about it. Like “God is God Because He Remembers” he tells us about how he was in prison and all the days that he had to wait to get out and tell the stories to the world. Or how in “I Am Not My Body” she tell us about her little arm and that’s why she was feeling frustrated when on T.V she used to see all this girls with perfect bodies. As you can see everything its around their own life’s
And in the end they know that God its there and he knows how everything is done.
3) What is the tone of each essay and how is it achieved?
· The tone of the essays I chose are reflective and thankful, because they want u to think about how good it‘s your life, and how to be thankful for the way you are.
4) How the essays are similar how they are different?
· Similar: the conclusion on both is that God is always there no matter what and that everything that happens, happens because is a lesson or a part of life, which you take in the right way or in the wrong. The essays show you and want you to think how to be thankful for all the things you have and how to take a hard time and deal with it, because in the end everything it’s going to be fine
· Different: its two different people, with different points of view ,different stories and conclusions.
5) Do they follow the writing guidelines?
· I think they do, because they’re supposed to put, what you believe with a real stories that is going to call the audience attention.
6) What believes do I want to write about?
· I would like to write about forgiveness or about the holocaust or maybe put both together because they have a lot in common.

I read both of those essays and i felt they were both interesting. I also really agree that you don't necessarily have to read something to know if it's good or not. sometimes you really do just identify yourself with the name.
